IIT Bombay was delighted to host a 100-member Central Asian youth delegation from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on 25th March, 2026. The visit was coordinated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
Prof. Suryanarayanan Doolla, Dean (Student Affairs) presented an engaging overview of student life and campus activities and Prof. Pratibha Sharma, Associate Dean (Academic Programmes) gave a detailed presentation on academic programmes. Staff of office of the Dean (International Relations), briefed the delegates on international programmes and global partnerships at IIT Bombay.
A guided campus tour showcased the vibrant infrastructure and academic environment of IIT Bombay, offering the delegates a glimpse into the Institute’s dynamic learning ecosystem.
