Python is a general-purpose, high-level, remarkably powerful dynamic programming language that is used in a wide variety of application domains. Django is a high-level Python web framework that enables the rapid development of secure and maintainable websites. The 2 day Python and Django workshop will be conducted using a mix of pre-recorded videos with hands-on learning and live sessions. This workshop is organized by the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) and the FOSSEE (Free/Libre Open Source Software for Education) project. Both initiatives are supported by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This workshop will be useful to students, teachers/faculty, and working professionals from any background. Anybody with a basic knowledge of Python can attend this workshop. Participation certificates, in an electronic form, will be provided to all participants after the successful completion of the workshop.
